KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 — The ringgit retreated against the greenback on Tuesday despite the weaker US Dollar Index (DXY) and lower US Treasury yields after the recent downgrade of the credit rating of the United States by Moody’s Ratings.

SYDNEY, Sept 25 — Australian airline Qantas on Monday said it expects its fuel bill for first-half of the fiscal year 2024 to increase by about $200 million Australian (US$128.5 million) due to higher oil prices and a lower Australian dollar, reported dpa news agency.
